Several NAAP assistant physician members had the opportunity to volunteer with Missouri’s disaster medical assistance team (MO-1 DMAT), who were employed as a COVID-19 taskforce by Missouri’s State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to help with COVID-19 screening, testing and vaccinations across the state in 2020 and 2021.
